Author Biography
Michael Black is the author of a dozen crime novels including his Ron Shade series, I Am Not A Cop and I Am Not A Psychic co-written with Law & Order SVU star Richard Belzer, and Dead Ringer co-written with fellow Chicago crime writer Julie Hyzy. Black, a member of the Mystery Writers of America and MWA’s Midwest chapter, is a police officer in a Chicago suburb.
