Fox Cities Reads
The 2012 Fox Cities Reads is underway! Pick up a copy of Make the Impossible Possible by Bill Strickland at your local library and join in community-wide discussions about the book. The author will visit the Fox Cities April 16-18 during the Fox Cities Book Festival.
Author Biography
Mr. Anderson is a film-maker and animation director who has written hundreds of scripts for clients as varied as Turner Classic Movies, AMFAR, Sears and Budweiser. He teaches character animation as an adjunct at MIAD, The Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, and writes a Wisconsin history blog called WISCONSINOLOGY, which concerns “Fame, Fortune, Arcania, Headless Jesuits, Restless Psychos, Genius, Madness, Personal Observations, Trivia, Travel and Fine Dining from the Badger State.” His varied projects have led to frequent appearances on Wisconsin Public Television. Long ago, he wrote numerous articles and covered daily life and town meetings for The Deerfield Independent in Deerfield, Wisconsin.

The author will describe researching and writing the book, Wicked Fox Cities, what it's like to write every night from 11pm to 3am, read from the book, read from discarded chapters and discuss the forgotten world and people of the Fox Cities in the 19th century.
