Regular admission for museum applies; dress-up party and activities are free; attendees to this special event can leave to attend Jane O’Connor’s presentation at Appleton Public Library and will be re-admitted following Ms. O’Connor’s appearance. At the Art Party, families would come dressed in their finest and be invited to create works of art just like Fancy Nancy. For example, children and adults can paint like Jackson Pollock, create collages like Matisse and learn about Impressionists like Monet. Throughout the day, visitors would display their works of art to create an ongoing exhibit (which is a fancy word for show)! A backdrop will be created for photo opportunities where families can capture the memory of everyone in their finery.
